China Communications Construction (ECRL) Sdn Bhd (CCC-ECRL), main contractor and Malaysia Rail Link Sdn Bhd (MRL), asset owner of the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) Project efforts to offer assistance to the flood victims around Malaysia continued as they sent some donations to the Pahang State Government on 5th January 2022.
The mock cheque was presented by CCC-ECRL’s Managing Director Mr. Kong Qi to Pahang Menteri Besar, YAB Dato’ Sri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail, accompanied by MRL’s Chief Executive Officer Dato’ Sri Darwis Abdul Razak and Mr. Deng Bo, the Deputy Project Director cum Chief Engineer of CCC-ECRL.
YAB Dato’ Sri Wan Rosdy thanked CCC-ECRL and MRL for their ongoing supports in offering assistance be it in term of monetary, supplies, as well as providing machineries to clean roads and areas that have been affected by the floods within the state.
In Pahang, the disaster had caused several casualties and left tens of thousands of people with severe damages and losses worth millions of ringgits.
CCC-ECRL and MRL hope that the monetary assistance can be channelled to the victims as soon as possible to help them get back on their feet.
