Deputy Transport Minister Visits CCC-ECRL Headquarter

On 6th October 2021, Deputy Transport Minister, Dato’ Henry Sum Agong has visited China Communications Construction (ECRL) Sdn Bhd (CCC-ECRL) headquarter in Kuala Lumpur.

The Deputy Minister were welcomed by Kong Qi, Managing Director of CCC-ECRL, alongside Dato’ Sri Darwis Abdul Razak, Chief Executive Officer of Malaysia Rail Link (MRL).

Also present was Deng Bo, CCC-ECRL’s Deputy Project Director cum Chief Engineer.

Dato’ Henry and his delegation from Ministry of Transportation (MoT) toured the office and had a proper look at the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) route and train designs. They were also briefed on the current progress of the project.

The deputy minister highly complimented the well-coordinated and standardized management of the headquarter office as well as the efforts to overcome the impact of pandemic to ensure a steady progress of the overall project.

Dato’ Henry also hopes that ECRL project will continue to carry on with high quality and efficiency to ensuring the completion of the project by end of 2026.
